McCallum Bagpipes was formed in 1998 by it's existing partners Kenny MacLeod and Stuart McCallum. Kenny and Stuart had known each other for years through piping, both being members of the Glasgow Skye Association Pipe Band. Kenny MacLeod has been involved in the making and sale of bagpipes since working for Kintail in 1982. Stuart McCallum has a background in precision engineering and specialized in programing and operating CNC machinery. The combination of these talents seems to have worked as, McCallum Bagpipes has grown in a short period of time into one of the worlds leading bagpipe makers.
